You should read it! It's a series from Stephen King (his only series I believe, and has a much different feel than his other books, yet at the same time you KNOW it's King) and it's FANTASTIC.
There was talk of making it into a movie and TV series, but the studio cut it for budget reasons.
ANYWHO this pendant reminds me of one of the characters, Cuthbert Allgood, carries around a Rook skull, often as a charm around his neck. And maps are a must of any good quest story.
